TRADITIONAL CAMP UNITS

SEEKERS

GOODE GLACIERS

The youngest mixed-gender unit at camp, representing the 3rd and 4th grades, is the Goode Glaciers! They are often the smallest in stature, but they have the most enthusiasm in all the land! Goodes provide the most excitement, if the Goodes laugh at one of your jokes you know it’s funny. Most of all, Goodes LOVE to play games! Goodes live in Wally Fisher Lodge with lights and electricity, remember: "Living in Wally Fish, don't step on the wall or give it a kiss!"
G – double O – DE – that’s all, we party up at the Wally Wall, G - double O - DE - that's all - Goode Glaciers that’s who we are!
Goodes are Dork Dance fanatics and always dress to impress, rock on Goodes!

HOODOOS

Representing the 4th and 5th grades is the HooDoo Unit. A mixed-gender unit, the HooDoos hail from The Rock up on HooDoo Hill. You know them by their stellar cheer:

HOO DO? WE DO!
H - double - O
D - double - O STOP!

Here we come again cuz we rock the rock
Screaming it louder until we drop
So throw your hands up if you rock the rock!
The HooDoos have a great time working as a team to take a ride on the Giant Swing, and they also get a chance to dig around the Garden.
The HooDoos always represent well during Get Wet Get Dirty - "No more showers 'til we're thirty!"

EXPLORERS

LIZARDHEADS

The all-male, 5th and 6th grade unit is the Lizardheads! You will definitely see the Lizardheads around camp, but they're most likely in The Swamp! The Swamp is up behind HooDoo Hill and is the home of the longstanding Lizardhead tradition of Swamp Ball. Swamp Ball is exactly what it sounds like, throwing a big muddy ball around that big muddy swamp. While the Lizardheads might get muddy all day long, they also enjoy settling down for some songs from the OTC (Orkila Tabernacle Choir) during an evening campfire.

SAHALES

Sahalla back ya'll!!! Representing the 5th and 6th grade, all-female unit are the burly AND girly Sahales!
The Sahales like to take a cruise around the BMX track, and also like to get to their faces painted some variation of the unit colors. PINK and BLACK(andpinkandblackandpinkandblack)!!!
You'll probably find a Dream Catcher in the Sahale cabins, along with all of the other projects they make in the Arts and Crafts Shop!

GREYWOLVES

The all-male unit representing the 6th and 7th grades is the GreyWolves. The GreyWolves are known best for their tradition of Wolf Ball. These young gentlemen practice Wolf Ball in the Den, where they also live during their time at camp. If they’re not showing off the awesome GreyWolf Stomp, the GreyWolves are probably splashing around in the pool, or working together on low ropes.

G - DUB!
WOLF PACK!
BRING IT TO YA!
BRING IT BACK!
AHHHOOOOOOOOOO...

TURTLEBACKS

The sister unit of the GreyWolves representing the 6th and 7th grade is the TurtleBacks! They live down on the beach, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. Most of all, the TurtleBacks love hanging out together and have a lot of unit pride! The TurtleBacks always bring it with the famous TurtleBack Stomp, so check their funky beat!

CHALLENGERS

MOUNT OLYMPUS (Mt O)

Representing the 8th and 9th grades, mixed gender unit is Mount Olympus, better known as Mt. O! The live just down the beach from the Turtlebacks, in a place called the Summit. Honoring their divine heritage of the Greek Gods, Mt. O campers enjoy all kinds of competition, always performing well in All Camp events. They also enjoy chilling out together and being campers.

Mt. O!
YOU KNOW!

LOOWITS

The oldest unit at camp representing the 9th and 10th grades is the mixed-gender Loowits! They have the privilege of living in cabins with electricity! They also have the responsibility of being role models for the rest of camp, which they do very well.
